Texas Medicare Supplement Plans: Now Is The Time

The advantages of Medicare Supplement plans are more apparent than ever in today’s unsure economy. Budgets are being cut all over the country and health care is suffering. Whereas Medicare Advantage Plans may have made more sense for some people in the past, holes in those plans and changes in the country’s financial stability are causing many to reexamine their Medicare coverage.

Reimbursements for Medicare Advantage plans are going to be undergoing budget cuts in Illinois in 2010, and that means good news for Blue Cross Blue Shield, the largest provider of Medicare Supplement plans in Illinois. Medicare Advantage participation rates in Illinois are already well below the national average, and with the added reimbursement cuts the shift to Medicare Supplement plans will become even more dramatic.

Recent surveys show that Texas Medicare Supplements have garnered overwhelmingly high satisfaction rates with participants, and many of them say that they do not know how they would deal with the out-of-pocket expenses they would have to pay without their plans. Over 10 million seniors have enrolled in Texas Medicare Supplements, and about 8 million of them are extremely happy with their coverage.

No matter where in the country you live, Medicare plans probably don’t cover your every concern. That is why Medicare Supplement Plans exist: to address all areas of your health needs and take a little stress out of dealing with the modern health care system.
